Kinds of wine

Furmint: A masculine wine made of the prevailing grape sort of the wine district. When young, its hard acids present it with juvenile freshness; and when mellowed, its flavour and bouquet grow stout and peculiar. It is recommended with almost any meal due to its versatility, though the masculine character makes this wine more suitable with red meats.

Hárslevelû: A popular kind of wine. It is fairly stable and the grapes it is made from have a good drying capability. The fragrance of linden tree flowers are perceptible in the wine. When more mellow, there appear flavours reminiscent of the apple. Its aromas are silkier than those of the Furmint with its acids becoming all the finer during the seasoning process. It is recommended with hot starters or soups.

Yellow muscat: A kind of wine popular for its characteristic muscat flavour and bouquet. It is rendered a precious wine by its vivid acids and remaining sugar content. This wine is best when young, consumed alone or with white meats.
